Content testing Archive

This was just pure lol. So the list for the content testing is released (link here to check if you made it: http://maplestory.nexon.net/?PART=/News/Event&mode=view&uid=142&bbsidx=1388) and after trying ctrl + f ing all the forum names I thought I could be using, I found nothing. So I decided to log into the 3 accounts I signed up on: My archer, my sister’s hermit and my hs mule. Then came the question of where I’d find the forum id and after many failed attempts, I decided to just post on the thread/notice congratz and see what it was. Doing so on my character and my hs mule produced no results with obvious forum ids (Retalion and AngelAri) but my sister’s hermit’s forum id surprised me: AznLoner. Where the hell did she ever guess that? So after that, I used the ctrl + F function with that login id and was surprised and amused…
Seeing that, my sister and I burst into laughter for a full 5 minutes (not sure why, but we just did and… yeah).
So what does this mean? I’ll be testing to the best of my ability. As I said on sw, Im no fiel or IsaacGS with tonnes of knowledge about how to pick through the data and whatnot, but I’ll try my best in terms of an in game aspect to get screenshots and whatnot for the general public. I’ve posted a link of my blog on the sleepywood thread so I guess that “maybe” there will be new visitors here so I’ll say “Welcome” now. I’ll try being as accurate and informative as possible, but no guarantees. Im not going to put unecessary pressure on myself with a paper and 2 quizes this week in University.
The link currently does not work so I cant do anything as of yet so nothing will be posted right now. When something does come up though, you’ll find out about it here. As for the regular blog updates, those will continue to be here so look forward to those as well.

Apparently the download client has been delayed by 1.5 hours so I’ll have to wait till then.
6:12 PDT update: I’ve installed the data off the site and its currently unpacking on my computer. More to come.
8:26 PDT update: Good news: The game is up
Bad news: You dc every 30 seconds or so. However, I did grab some screenshots.

3. Apparently, all quests still give the same exp. Only quest I was able to finish before dcing again.

Not much more I can post on as I keep dcing (as is everyone else). Hopefully they’ll fix this soon.
