Top 1000, 3k hp
In the last few days, the hp washing page has been updated. I havent posted about it as Ive been somewhat busy training =X “Maple Steroids” were on sale and I couldnt help it. With my bit of remaining nx, I bought the 4.3k 10 day 4-8 pm pst card.
With the card, Ive climbed into the top 1000 “on ranking” archers:
Though I didnt get a screenshot of it, at level 106, after 3 more hp washes, my hp went above 3k. For those with archers, you’d know that usually archers achieve 3k hp between 115 and 125. I did it at 106, lol. Here’s a 107 screenshot showing my hp above 3k:
At this rate, I should break the 3.1k hp mark at 110, which I hope to hit tomorrow. I’ll probably make a post tomorrow, but if I dont, I wish you all a Happy New Year. May you be prosperous and successful in this new year in whichever regard you wish.

What are we really celebrating?
Well, its Christmas today for many people (and for some, its the day after Christmas now). I want to take this time to ask all of you, “What is Christmas to you?” Is it just a day where you recieve lots of gifts and money? A day hyped up by the media in which stores make lots of money? A time of year to hang out with friends and have a “feel good” feeling? Whether you like it or not, regardless of religion, this day is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, who came to this Earth to take away our sins. Even if Christmas to you is one of the above, I hope you would just take the time to consider this a celebration of Jesus’ birth.
With this, I leave you my present to you all. Originally, this would be set to music but as I dont have a laptop or any other recording device, I’ll merely type out my first attempt at poetry. This will be the basis in which my 120 video will be based on. Yes, a 120 video. I have decided not to make a 100 video as I never made a 100 one for Retalion so on a journey back, it’d be natural not to have one. As well, I dont have the resources to make a video without a laptop so for those looking forward to it, you’ll have to wait.
Note: IF this were to be sung, the non italicized parts would be sung by a lower voice with the italicized parts sung by a higher one, sort of like a conversation.
When the stars begin to fall,
The world we know has start its rotting
The birds have ceased their call,
No indication of it stopping
Nothing’s left at all

Well, that’s the outline. Its set to music, but I couldnt record it so that’ll have to wait. As well, I’ve given up on the commercial contest as there’s no way I can do it. However, my commercial will show up at the end of my 120 video. So hopefully that’s a compromise on all sides. It is Christmas so I hope you all enjoy it. Just think about what I’ve said and celebrate Christmas, not only for all the giving and the feel good stories, but for the true reason: Jesus Christ. For those who dont want to look at it religiously, look at this as a celebration of the birth of the hero, the saviour into this world.

100 at last
As many may notice, Joliyrancher shows up in my videos a lot. The reason for that is because we’re good friends and he enjoys hanging around and just visiting me right before I level.
First off, I would like to wish him a Happy Birthday (yes, December 23rd is his b-day). I’d give him something but I made a mental mistake and thought it was a few days after Christmas instead of before so… yeah. I’ll try getting him a song asap, despite not having my laptop. Back to leveling updates:
We’ve tried double leveling many times since we met at vikings almost 2 years ago.
We tried 100 and 120 last Christmas but we both kept dying at pap (lol, nubs).
We tried 120 and 130 but he got banned at zakum (to this day, I still think it was a mistake. I train with him quite often and have NEVER seen him hacking. Heck, he doesnt even use a joystick to drop mesos at zakum and still drops as fast as those joy2key users) and I got deleted.
We tried 70 and 130 but I was slightly too slow (No explanation needed there, lol)
Finally, we agreed on 120 and 140. However, he’s been busy lately and as I didnt want to see my 2x exp wasted, I just leveled without him.
At level 99, I did something unheard of and to many, insane. I solo’d sharks for the whole level as, being in scania, EVERY channel’s goby parties were full and I had 2x so I went what the heck and just trained there. Im almost certain Im the first archer to do that as well…
1. Most archers dont have enough hp to survive sharks
2. Sharks dispel and slow, scaring many away.
3. They hurt and are precieved by many as bad exp.
For B0wjob: 13.5%/hr at 99 and 100 at sharks, 27%/hr with 2x exp.
That in mind, according to Josh’s blog (with all that useful %/hr stuff), people only get around that at gobies so I dont think its that bad.
I did sharks with my pathetic level 6 hawk and needless to say, a few archer buddies and I had a few good laughs as my hawk unstunned almost as much as it stunned. When I leveled and got 9 hawk and saw 3 stuns in a row and started spazzing sarcastically on buddy chat, some buddies laughed pretty loudly.
So, that in mind: Level up screenshot and 100 dmg ranges. In this order:

I was browsing the sleepywood forums archer market as usual and I stumble across this:
Either he figured out it was me who constantly reported him on sleepywood to keep banning his sw.net accounts or he read it in my blog but according to that, he seems to have some grudge on me, lol.
On a “happier” note, Anthony (LordUhai)’s blog now shows up in my blogroll. This is quite a surprise and disappointment becuase he’s on my buddy list YET DIDNT TELL ME ABOUT IT >=(. There’s not much on it right now but regardless, its linked there so give it a visit. Ive noticed a few other archer bloggers posting on my blog and I’ll sort through those later. I just finished exams so I’ll enjoy my time by composing something (yes, Christmas is coming up and what better way to save money than to give everyone a song?). We all know how bad I am with deadlines so <hopefully> I’ll get it done in time.
Laptop? Oh what? they’re actually fixing it? no. I get a phone call today 1.5 weeks after they “sent it in to the factory”, asking if they have permission to restore my computer to its original settings. Well, if that’s all I needed to do, I wouldh’ve done it myself. The problem was I needed a new hard drive, no? Last time I buy anything from Best Buy. Ironically I got a 50 dollar gift card to best by for Christmas… oh well.

Hinkel Story
As many of you know, I’ve been using a Golden Hinkel since 70. The reason being, with the 10 strength I save, this is equivalent to a 106-107 atk arund with speed on top of it, which would cost 100-150 mill (at the time). I merely got this bow for 50 so I felt it was a steal. The stats on it?
As I hit 90, I felt that I needed a better bow, something more powerful so a friend and I combined to buy another friend’s arund (Well, he bought the whole thing, I still have to pay him part of it).
This naturally meant that my hinkel would be on sale. A friend of mine (Prepdude) sold his 103/3 Golden Hinkel for 60 mill so I naturally expected more. However, after I put it up for sale, all the offers I got were along the lines of “A 103/3 is now selling for 35 mill. I offer 40″ or “I’ll offer you 50 mill on your hinkel”. The highest I got was a 75 mill offer, but as I took too long to reply, they bought a 103 one. Heck, some guy offered me his 103/1 fire arund for it >_>. Finally, one of my friend’s friend, who was a big fan of the videos offered 75 but he’d have to find time to get the money so I agreed. However, the next day he got hacked, causing him to withdraw. This really discouraged me and the next night, I got a person whispering asking how much I’d sell it for. As I was running out of offers I said 65, in which he said he’d quickly borrow from a friend, which he did. So he asked to trade then, but it was 11:30 pm and I was feeling tired (yes I sleep early, lol) so I told him I’d sell it to him tomorrow unless I had a better offer, which I doubted. Hoping for the best, I stuck the hinkel on basil (A site I often criticize for their cheap prices) at 85 mill for the heck of it.
The next morning, I wake up to find someone had bidded 85 mill on it. Seeing this, I quickly jumped on the offer with this result:
Interesting how sleeping early got me an extra 20 mill and how the site I often mock for having cheap prices ironically gets me the best offer I saw.
The stats of my new bow? I’ll keep that secret till Im 100. You can expect to see the stats then. The hp washing page has been updated a bit as Ive lvled a bit. Take a look if you want.

Filler post! (with some useful information)
Thought: I should just not bother with 30’s and just use 10%’s for eternity when scrolling.
Assumption: according to Josh, I should be scrolling something amazingly awesome soon. Im 1/20 with 30% scrolls without trying. Ive broken crap items, perfect items, cheap items, expensive items. When will I actually get something good? who knows, lol. (Only 30 to work was on the 2nd slot of a 80 atk golden crow I was 30% for fun. 1st slot failed, 3rd slot broke).

New additions to the blogroll and update on my laptop.
So I was browsing the web last night and while searching up “Retalion”, I ran into DaAngel’s blog. Im not sure if he updates it anymore but regardless, there it was. It was interesting to see so I’ll link it up. I remembered the incident of him visiting me (last entry in his blog), but I never knew it left such a big imprint on him (my taking the time to talk to him a bit). Things like this remind me that though some things might be trivial to me, they can mean all the world to others. I have always taken time to talk to people in game (when Im not afk that is) and I never thought something that small will give people motivation to go on. So anyways, Ive just put his blog’s link in my blogroll. From what I see, he hasnt had many visitors so who knows, this might motivate him to start it up again.
Back in the day (perhaps 6-9 months ago), there was a very popular archer blog run by Kiffle (Jonas) of Scania. It had many videos of high lvled rangers/snipers from other servers, many of which had “never before seen” 4th job archer footage. He recently took a long break from maple but he’s now back so I expect his blog to be updated once again. Hopefully it’ll go back to prominence again and that it can become <the place> to visit for archer videos, whether 4th job or just high leveled, boss soloings in other servers or training on maps we dont have here. So, his blog is now on the links on the side of my blog so give it a visit if you have time.
